The Ultimate Money Books for Entrepreneurs & Investors

Before we start with the list of books, I want to share 2 of my favorite tools to read and listen to books.

As you probably already know, I am constantly traveling from one country to another, and having a Kindle allows me to take 100s of books with me wherever I am without having to take much space or carry heavyweight paper books.

In addition to the Kindle, which I use mainly at night before going to bed, I am also using Audible, which I use mainly during my daily walks to reach my 10,000 steps goal every day.

The combination of the Kindle and Audible is perfect for busy entrepreneurs.

Now that you are fully equipped to read and to listen to your books, here is the ultimate list of books you should read if you want to take your life, your business, and your investments to the next level. Enjoy!

  • A Happy Pocket Full of Money, Expanded Study Edition: Infinite Wealth and Abundance in the Here and Now

It’s Not Just About the Money

True wealth is not about buckets of cash. True wealth is not about designer clothes. It is not about a new Mercedes. It is not about living in a palatial estate. True wealth, asserts David Gikandi, is about discovering value within yourself and value within other people. It is about a kind of conscious living that incorporates gratitude, a belief in abundance, and the experience of joy.

Based on the recent discoveries of theoretical physics and a close reading of inspirational classics of the last century, Gikandi creates a new model for the creation of personal wealth; a new model that shows readers how to create abundance by saving, giving, offering charity, and building happy relationships.

    • Learn to use an internal mantra to build wealth consciousness.
    • Practice conscious and deliberate thoughts and intentions.
    • Decide, define, and set goals you can believe in.
    • Practice gratitude, giving, and faith, and experience abundance and joy in your life.
  • MONEY Master the Game: 7 Simple Steps to Financial Freedom

Now, for the first time, he has assembled an invaluable “distillation of just about every good personal finance idea of the last forty years” (The New York Times).

Based on extensive research and interviews with some of the most legendary investors at work today (John Bogle, Warren Buffett, Paul Tudor Jones, Ray Dalio, Carl Icahn, and many others), Tony Robbins has created a 7-step blueprint for securing financial freedom. With advice about taking control of your financial decisions, to setting up a savings and investing plan, to destroying myths about what it takes to save and invest, to setting up a “lifetime income plan,” the book brims with advice and practices for making the financial game not only winnable—but providing financial freedom for the rest of your life.

Money—investing, personal finance, and business decisions—is typically taught as a math-based field, where data and formulas tell us exactly what to do. But in the real world people don’t make financial decisions on a spreadsheet. They make them at the dinner table, or in a meeting room, where personal history, your own unique view of the world, ego, pride, marketing, and odd incentives are scrambled together.

In The Psychology of Money, award-winning author Morgan Housel shares 19 short stories exploring the strange ways people think about money and teaches you how to make better sense of one of life’s most important topics.
